Mountain in Lakeside. This ski area offers 200 acres, 3 chairlifts
& spectacular views.
Glacier
National Park is just northeast of the Flathead Valley & offers
over a million acres of the most spectacular outdoor recreation &
scenery.
Glaciers, Alpine Lakes, hiking, lodging & wildlife in its natural habitat
abound here. Along this same line is the Bob Marshall Wilderness the largest
wilderness area in the lower United States, which incorporates millions of acres
of open space. The Flathead Valley itself is surrounded by National & State
forests.
There are plenty of lakes & rivers in the Flathead Valley including
Flathead Lake which is the largest natural fresh water lake west of the
Mississippi. With all this water around, water & ice sports are covered for
your recreation.
There are 10 golf
