The Flathead Valley
Welcome to the beautiful Flathead Valley which it has been whispered is among the "Last Best Places" left in the United States. Flathead Valley is made up of several communities; Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork,Columbia Falls, Lakeside & Somers, & the Glacier Corridor towns of Hungry Horse, Martin City & Coram. Kalispell is the largest of these communities and therefore holds the county seat. Each community is unique in it’s own way; Kalispell the commercial hub, Whitefish the skiing mecca, Bigfork the cultural & artistic hot spot, Columbia Falls the industrial center, Lakeside & Somers nestled along Flathead Lake.
